BASEBALL DURING THE COVID ERA
In 2020, the world came to a virtual standstill as a result of Covid-19. Although ultimately many sports returned in some fashion, baseball played a shortened season in empty stadiums. Having completed one full lap of MLB stadiums through 2019, the Dead Stadium Tourists had planned on returning to the scene of the original 1989 crime - - - Chicago and the White Sox.
Covid protocols prevented our group from traveling so much like most of life the Chicago trip was postponed and we will attempt to resume our travels in the Summer of 2021.

7/30-8/1/21
After being postponed by covid in 2020 the Dead Stadium Toursts finally arrived in the Windy City for a series against the newly named Cleveland Guardians. Travel logistics have beomc more difficult as the "kids" became college students and then college graduates and a couple relocated for work. We converged on Chicago on flights from NYC, Syracuse, Philadelphia, Savannah and Denver and began the weekend with a deep dish pizza brunch.
